Video Transcriber ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Video Transcriber service (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information — email address and display name when you sign up or sign in with Google.
• Media you submit — audio/video files or links you upload or paste for transcription, and the transcripts generated from them.
• Usage data — quota usage, feature interactions and device/browser diagnostics used to operate and improve the Service.
• Payment data — handled by our payment processor and merchant of record (Waffo.com Limited). We never store full card numbers.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide transcription, translation, AI notes and related features; to manage your account, quotas and subscriptions; to prevent abuse; to communicate service updates; and to comply with law.

4. Storage & Retention

Uploaded media is stored in object storage (Cloudflare R2) and processed by speech-recognition providers for the sole purpose of generating your transcript. You can delete your assets at any time from My Assets; deletion removes the stored media and transcript from our systems within 30 days.

5. Sharing

We share data only with processors required to run the Service and when required by law. These include Supabase (authentication and account database), Cloudflare (hosting, storage and Workers AI), AssemblyAI (speech recognition), DeepSeek (translation and AI text features), Azure Speech (premium dubbing voices) and Waffo.com Limited (payments and merchant of record). We do not sell personal data.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@videotranscriber.net to exercise them.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and minimal analytics to understand product usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
