Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Video Transcriber service (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service provides AI transcription, translation, summarization and related tools for audio and video content. Features and quotas may change over time. Free quotas are provided for evaluation and light use.

AI features are powered by third-party models: AssemblyAI (speech recognition), DeepSeek (translation, notes, chapters and chat), Azure Speech (premium dubbing voices) and Cloudflare Workers AI MeloTTS (free dubbing voices). AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete and must be reviewed before use.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of the media you submit and the transcripts generated from it. You are responsible for having the rights to process the media you upload, and you grant us a limited license to process it to deliver the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

The full rules — including the prohibited content categories, moderation process, reporting channel and enforcement measures — are in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

• Do not upload content you do not have the right to process.
• Do not use the Service for unlawful, infringing or harmful purposes.
• Do not attempt to bypass quotas, rate limits or security controls.
• Do not resell the Service without a written agreement.

5. Violations & Account Termination

We may remove or refuse to process content, reset unused quota, suspend or terminate an account, or restrict access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or if your use creates risk for other users or the Service. Serious violations — including child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate content, credible threats or deepfake abuse — may result in immediate termination without notice. Where appropriate, we will provide a reason and an opportunity to appeal by email. Amounts already paid are non-refundable for accounts terminated for violations, except where required by applicable law.

6. Payments & Refunds

Paid plans are billed through Waffo (Waffo.com Limited). Annual plans are one-time payments for a year and do not auto-renew; monthly plans renew automatically until cancelled. One-time purchases are refundable within 24 hours; promotional plans are non-refundable. See our Subscription Policies for details.

7. Disclaimers

AI transcripts may contain errors. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Always review transcripts before relying on them for legal, medical or compliance purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding a claim.
